Do
I ever pay a fee to work with DerrJones?
Whether
DerrJones is engaged on a retained or contingency basis, handling
a permanent or interim assignment, all of our fees are paid by the
hiring company. There is never a fee to our candidates.
How
do you determine if I'm right for a position you're working on?
Several
factors go into the hiring process. First, we look at the objective
requirements for the opening, such as years of experience required,
educational background, and industry experience. We also need to
assess other competencies you possess through the interview process.
For example, do you have strong communication and interpersonal
skills? Are you a strategic thinker? Are you a people manager or
a process manager? Finally, we assess the fit between you and the
hiring company. Companies all have their own unique culture. It's
our job to match candidates with hiring companies across all of
these levels.
How
should I choose a recruiting firm to work with?
In
general, it's a good idea to be selective when choosing firms to
work with. You want to make sure that the firm gets to know you
and your background and more importantly, the key criteria you've
set for your next position. Look for a firm that is interested in
building a relationship with you - if you get the sense that a firm
is only interested in "pushing" your resume, move on.
How
is DerrJones different from other recruiting firms?
At
DerrJones, we believe that we have two client constituencies: the
companies that we work with and our candidates. We place significant
emphasis on honest and consistent communication to our candidates.
We challenge you to evaluate our process. When you do, we're confident
that you will choose DerrJones as a partner in your job search.
Put DerrJones recruiting power to work for you. Keep yourself
ahead
of the curve.
